Unlike existing weather apps that locate you in a generalized area, like a city or zip code, and then provide forecasts for weather reporting stations that may be miles away, WeatherFix combines precise location finding with a geo-spatial'grid'forecast model derived from a variety of weather data sources. As a result, you get forecasts essentially for your exact location– even when you’re moving, and for the precise locations you want to monitor.

Note: Local Doppler radar is currently available in the US. Other radar feeds around the world are coming soon. Regional radar and country mosaics are also in development, available in Spring, 2010.
